Play Online Game
I have grown to regret the day that I first started to play online game. It started off simply enough. I have always loved the game of boggle, finding it intellectually stimulating, and an awful lot of fun besides. The problem was that I was stuck at home, sick as a dog with the flu. I was sick of watching movies and decided to play boggle online. How I wish it had ended with playing online boggle! If I had known what an addiction playing online games would become, I would never have even started. You see, when you play online game it is so quick and easy to start that it is almost impossible to resist the temptation. Once you know that you can play arcade games online, for example, how can you say no? The computer is right they are, after all, and it will only take you five minutes. This is the way my mind started to work once I began to play online game. I was thinking like a junkie within a week! The only thing that broke me of the habit of playing online games all the time was a temporary Internet blackout. There had been a hack attack on my server, and it was down for the moment. At first I panicked, but then I realized how silly that was. After all, why was it so important to play online game? I had what could be described as a moment of clarity. I realized I had been wasting the last several months of my life. I do not have a girlfriend, had stopped playing music, and now even my work was suffering. I had even missed a promotion because of taking too much time to play online game. I decided to call it quits! I'm not saying that playing online arcade games is necessarily a dangerous habit for everyone, but it certainly can be. Instant gratification is a dangerous thing. If you have a way to get a moment of happiness without spending any effort to achieve it, you may just find yourself going for that moment over and over again. You'll forget about bigger things and will constantly play online game. I used months of my life up to play online game, months that I will never get back. It may sound silly to you, but video game addiction is a real phenomenon. Get help before it is too late! If you know yourself to be an addictive personality, never even play online games! |
